BANGALORE: A six-month-old baby girl was killed and three others were injured when the parapet of a house in Rajagopalanagar police station limits collapsed on Thursday night. The police said the incident occurred around 9.30 p.m. at the house of Mehaboob (45), a labourer, at a slum in Lakshmidevi Nagar at Laggere. Mehaboob's daughter, Armina alias Parveen, died of injuries sustained in the incident. Mehaboob and his other daughters, Farida (15) and Zameela (11), who were injured in the incident have been admitted to the K.C. General Hospital, the police said.
Ganja seized
The Central Crime Branch (CCB) officials on Thursday arrested Shiva Kumar (26) of Yeshwanthapur and seized from him the narcotic worth Rs. 30,000. Shiva Kumar was arrested when he was trying to sell it at B.K. Nagar in Yeshwanthpur, the police said.
Bicycles recovered
The Seshadripuram police on Thursday arrested Abdul Basheer (18) of Ganganagar and recovered from him eleven bicycles. Basheer had stolen the bicycles parked in front of schools and colleges, the police said.
