KOZHIKODE: The CPI State assistant secretary, Panniyan Raveendran, has alleged that the report submitted to the Kerala High Court by the Centre for Water Resources Development and Management (CWRDM) in the Plachimada case is with a view to protecting the interests of the Coca- Cola unit. Mr. Raveendran was speaking after inaugurating a march organised by the Plachimada Protest Solidarity Committee to the CWRDM at Kunnamangalam here on Friday. He deplored the tendency of organisations such as the CWRDM in protecting the interests of multinational companies. The solidarity committee district chairman, Vijayaraghavan Cheliya, presided. The State convener, R. Ajayan, the human rights activist K. Ajitha, among others, participated in the protest programme.
