CHENNAI: Sundaram Brake Linings has announced a second interim dividend of 50 per cent for the year ended March 31, 2005. It had already paid an interim dividend of 50 per cent. The company reported net sales of Rs. 132.77 during the year under reference against Rs.119.75 crores in the previous year. The profit, before depreciation and interest charges, was Rs. 20.65 crores against Rs. 18.89 crores. The net profit, after making provision for depreciation and taxation, was Rs. 10.15 crores against Rs. 9.09 crores. Net earnings work out to Rs. 37.41 against Rs. 33.51 per share.
