CBSE affiliation

Staff Reporter

NEW DELHI: To facilitate schools seeking affiliation from the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the Board will now accept online applications from schools in the country and abroad.

Aimed at reducing processing time of applications and passing of information regarding the status of the educational institutes, the applications can now be submitted at the Board's website www.cbse.nic.in.

Institutions seeking approval for middle class syllabus and provisional affiliation up to Class X can now apply online. Documents supporting applications have also been rationalised, with schools now required to send only a no objection certificate/recognition letter from the States and UTs, copy of registration of the trust and society, land ownership document from concerned authority, affidavit on non-propriety character of society and a staff statement.

After submission a registration number and page will be generated. For further processing, the registration page should be sent along with a demand draft in favour of Secretary, CBSE. The last date for sending applications is June 30.
