CHENNAI: R.K. Dhir and M. Newlands, staff members of the University of Dundee, Scotland, will visit Chennai on May 19 to meet students interested in studying in the university. The university launched a scholarship scheme, under the Scottish Fresh Talent Initiative, to support students from India to study postgraduate programmes in the Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences. It will provide international students graduating from a university in Scotland with an opportunity to stay in the U.K. for up to two years after completion of their studies, with full employment rights. Prof. Dhir and Dr. Newlands would advise students whether they were eligible for entry and provide information about the courses.
