TIRUCHI: As many as 86,000 children below five years within the Corporation limits will be given polio drops in the second phase of the pulse polio programme on Sunday. A total of 216 centres have been set up to administer polio drops to children between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. The drops will be administered in the Corporation, government hospitals, schools, noon meal centres, railway stations, the airport and bus stands. Two mobile centres have also been set up. A release from the Corporation here said 870 staff would be involved in the pulse polio programme besides those from service and voluntary organisations.
