17,000 to appear for Civil Services

HYDERABAD:
About 17,000 candidates will take the Civil Services (preliminary) Examinations-2005 to be conducted by the Union Public Service Commission at 39 sub-centres in the city on Sunday. The Hyderabad district Collector, Arvind Kumar, who is o-ordinating supervisor for the examination, said all necessary arrangements were made.
The forenoon session would be held from 9.30 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. while the afternoon session was scheduled from 2.30 p.m. to 4.30 p.m.
