BMTC rates for hiring buses by educational institutions

BANGALORE: The Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) has announced concessional rates for hiring buses by educational institutions.

A BMTC release said here on Friday that the peak hour rates (8.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and 4.30 p.m. to 8 p.m.) for schools are Rs. 14.50 a km for ordinary buses; Rs. 17 for Pushpak buses and Rs. 13 for ordinary mini buses. The non-peak hour rates are Rs. 12, Rs. 13 and Rs. 12.50 in that order.

For colleges, the peak hour rates are Rs. 15.50 for ordinary buses, Rs. 17 for Pushpak and Rs. 14 for mini buses. The non-peak hour rates are Rs. 13, Rs. 15 and Rs. 13 in that order.
