Mass marriage

The Prabhandak Committee of the Central Gurudwara Saheb (CGS), Gowliguda, will perform "samuhik vivaha" (mass marriage) among the Sikh community at Vivek Vardhini College, Jambagh, at 11 a.m on Sunday free of cost.

S.Tirlok Singh, president of the committee, said in a press release that only Gurmukh and Amrit Dhari Sikhs would be allowed for the marriages. Those interested should enrol their names at the CGS office from 10 a.m to 8 p.m. For details Mr. Singh (tel 2461134, 9860-48083) could be contacted. - Staff Reporter

Vedika programme

The DD-Saptagiri channel will telecast a discussion in vedika programme on "Rashtra Prabhutvamu-Varshikotsava Sameeksha" at 8 p.m on May 15.

The programme is organised on the occasion of completion of one-year rule of the Y.S.Rajashekara Reddy Government. K.Rosaiah, Minister of Finance, K.Shiva Prasad Rao, former Minister, and N.Narasimhaiah, MLA, will participate.

DD-Saptagiri will also telecast a series of quiz programmes on general knowledge on May 21, 28 and June 4,11. - Staff Reporter
