KOCHI: The Tripunithura Sri Poornathrayeesa temple renovation committee has alleged that several decisions taken by the temple administration are harming the interests of the devotees. At a press conference on Saturday, the committee president, Jayan Mankayil, said the services of the committee were ordered to be discontinued on flimsy grounds. Pointing out that a committee formed in the past by Seva Sangh had been able to organise the festivals admirably well, he alleged that the newly constituted authority, which handled the affairs of the temple, had incurred huge losses. Mr. Jayan Mankayil said the renovation committee was considering the option of seeking judicial remedies.
