VISAKHAPATNAM: The Standing Committee of the Academic Senate of Andhra University has decided to conduct instant examinations to candidates who have failed in one paper in the final year of B.Tech, B.E., Law, B.A., B.Sc. and B.Com. Instant examinations will be held towards the month-end or in the first week of June. Candidates who pass in the instant examination would be eligible to seek admission into post-graduate courses based on their rank in the AUCET 2005-06, according to the AU Vice-Chancellor, L. Venugopal Reddy. The committee also decided to include two executives or professionals in board of studies of all subjects to prepare the syllabi to suit the needs of the industries.
