VISAKHAPATNAM: All arrangements for the final round of Pulse Polio Immunisation mop-up programme to be held on Sunday have been made, according to the District Medical and Health Officer, P. Rama Rao. In the last round of PPI held on April 10, a target of 110.7 per cent was achieved, he told the media on Thursday and expected similar success now. About 50 transit teams and 73 mobile teams would operate, and special booths were being set up at Anakapalle, Narsipatnam, Paderu, Visakhapatnam, Yelamanchili, Araku and Chintapalli to cover children on vacation. The DMHO appealed to the public to inform his office over 98499-02299, 98499-02293, 98480-027930 any case of children below 15 years suffering sudden nervous breakdown.
