This Day That Age
The visiting Pakistani Prime Minister, Mr Mohammed Ali, had a two-hour meeting with Prime Minister Nehru in New Delhi on May 15. The others who participated in the discussion were the Education Minister, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, the Home Minister, Pandit Govind Ballabh Pant, and the Pakistani Interior Minister, Gen. Iskander Mirza. While it is stated that the talks related to Kashmir, there was no official indication available as to the trend of the talks. Pandit Pant and Gen. Iskander Mirza had a separate meeting during which they discussed the Nekowal incident on the Jammu border and measures to avoid recurrence of such incidents.
