PONDICHERRY: In the second phase of pulse polio campaign held throughout the Union Territory today 87,643 children were immunised against the targeted 92,736 children in the age group of 0-5 years. A press release from the Directorate of Health and Family Welfare Department, said there would be a house-to-house campaign for the next two days to cover the children who were left out in today's campaign. The special booth at Pondicherry bus stand would also continue for the next two days. The release said 1700 staff of the health department participated in the campaign.
