CUDDALORE: The road network in Cuddalore district will be improved at an outlay of Rs 32.23 crores. Under the programme 250 km of State highways and the arterial roads in the mofussil areas would be spruced up, according to Gagandeep Singh Bedi, Collector. In a statement here, Mr Bedi stated that the following works would be taken up soon: 51 km of State highways - Rs 9.58 crores, 92 km of main thoroughfares - Rs 16.74 crores, and 107 km of interior roads - Rs 5.91 crores. The works on the Cuddalore Panruti road, Cuddalore Vadalur Vriddhachalam road, Keerapalayam Sethiathope road, and Vriddhachalam Thozhudur road would be executed.
