THRISSUR: Thiruvananthapuram retained the overall titles with ease in the State junior and sub-junior aquatics championships at the Aquatic Complex here on Sunday.

In the junior event, it scored 1074 points, way ahead of the runner-up Thrissur (247) and Ernakulam (139), which was third. In the sub-junior meet, Thiruvananthapuram totalled 597 points, while Ernakulam scored 158 and Palakkad 89 as they finished second and third respectively.
