VIJAYAWADA: The Vijayawada West MLA, Sheik Nazarvali, on Sunday inaugurated the pulse polio immunisation programme at the Ayurvedic Hospital at the Lambadapet here. He advised parents to have polio drops administered on their children below the age of five years. The Chief Medical Officer of the Vijayawada Municipal Corporation, Nageswara Rao, said as many as 375 centres were set up at different parts of the city to administer polio drops on children. Centres were opened at Durga temple, Railway Station and Bus Station, Dr. Rao said.
