VIJAYAWADA: The district Collector, K. Prabhakar Reddy, has said that the Krishna district manual would help the future generations to know the history of the district and underlined the need for publishing a second part of the manual. The Collector released the "Krishna District New Manual - History of Vijayawada Division," here on Sunday. Mr. Reddy said that the history of Nuzivid, Gudivada and Machilipatnam divisions would have to be published soon. There was a need for publishing a comprehensive history of the district and make it understandable to the common man, he added. The Collector, also the president of the District Manual Committee, observed that the district underwent a lot of changes in terms of development and administration. The manual would record all the changes and provide the details to future generations, he said.
