Three killed in accidents

HYDERABAD:
Three persons, including a woman, were killed in road accidents on Sunday and Monday in the city. A private company employee, P. Ashok, 35, was killed when a speeding DCM van hit the scooter on which he was riding at Mallapur in Nacharam on Sunday night.
The victim was a resident of Old Mallapur village, local police said. Sattemma, 65, was returning to her house in Moosa Khatri locality of Hussainialam from a dargah on foot when a bus of Rajendranagar depot knocked her down near Puranapool Shiva temple on Monday. She died on the spot, the Hussainialam police said.
In another mishap on Sunday night, a private company worker, P. Srinivas, 38, of Matsya Bollaram died when his scooter slipped into a roadside pit near Select theatre in Old Alwal.
