NEW DELHI: The Centre will issue an Ordinance soon to enable newly elected MLAs of Bihar draw their salaries and allowances. After elections held in January-February this year in Bihar threw up a hung Assembly and no elected government could be formed, President's rule was clamped on March 7. The Assembly was placed under suspended animation. Newly elected MLAs were not entitled to receive salaries and allowances unless they took oath under Article 188 of the Constitution.
