Record physical delivery in pepper at NMCE

KOCHI: National Multi Commodity Exchange of India witnessed physical delivery of 1,558 tonnes in pepper during May, says a release. The volumes have increased because of better crop prospect in Kerala and resultant volatility in prices. According to Kailash Gupta, the NMCE's market has improved in its efficiency after the introduction of T+2 contracts.
