Chartered accountant mourned

HYDERABAD:
Sundarayya Vignana Kendram has condoled the sudden death of Mammaneni Subba Rao, head of the Vijayawada-based Brahmayya & Company.
B. Sambi Reddy, secretary, said in a press release on Tuesday that Mr. Rao was a close associate of the CPI(M) leaders -- P. Sundarayya and M. Basavapunnayya -- and had backed the Communist movement.
Mr. Reddy praised the chartered accountant for his contribution to the field of education by setting up Siddhartha Academy.
