Voter list revision in progress in Tiruvannamalai

The last day for receipt of application is May 30

TIRUVANNAMALAI: Persons who have completed the age of 18 years on January 1, 2005 have been requested to apply in form no.6 before May 30 to get their names included in the voters' list of their respective constituencies in Tiruvannamalai district. The task of revising the voters' list with January 1, 2005 as the base date is currently in progress in all the nine Assembly constituencies in the district.

The Tiruvannamalai Collector, Satyabrata Sahoo, said in a release that the draft electoral roll in respect of the constituencies have been kept in the respective polling stations, municipal offices, taluk offices, Revenue Divisional Officers (RDO)'s offices and the delivery post offices from May 10 onwards for the perusal of the public. Application forms have also been made available with the respective Village Administrative Officers and the officials of the concerned delivery post offices in the rural and urban areas. Those who have filled up the application forms for inclusion or deletion of names should submit them to the postmasters of the delivery post offices or the officials of other government offices.
