PONDICHERRY: Volunteers of the Pondicherry unit of the Communist Party of India (Marxist), led by its leader T. Murugan, held a demonstration at the junction of the Mahatma Gandhi Road-Rangapillai Street in the heart of the town on Tuesday to urge the Administration to initiate steps to recover the amount from a privately managed PNL Nidhi limited. They alleged that the depositors in the Nidhi company had been gripped by mental agony because of the management's continued default in repayment of their deposits even after the deposits became due for repayment.
