MALAPPURAM: The management of the MES College of Engineering in Kuttippuram has announced a scholarship amounting to 75 per cent of the fees fixed by the State Government to candidates who have secured ranks up to 3,000 in the entrance examination. All candidates with ranks below 3,000 and seeking admission to the B.Tech. course in the college under the Government quota will be eligible for the scholarship. For Muslim candidates seeking admission under the management quota, ranks can be up to 5,000. The college is the only private self-financing college in the State selected for implementing the Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme (TEQIP) of the Union Government with World Bank aid.
