The meet will be held at Hotel D.V.Manor between 3 pm and 5 pm on Wednesday, according to a company press release. The BGL, a joint venture promoted by GAIL and HPCL as the major partners, is promoting CNG and auto LPG in Andhra Pradesh. The State Government has decided to invest Rs. 5 crores in the BGL towards five per cent of equity in the company through Andhra Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation (APIDC). The company says that CNG will lead to economic benefits for its users, besides reducing the pollution levels in the city. Vijayawada will be the first city in South India to have CNG distribution network.
