NIZAMABAD: The district administration will conduct a rythu sadassu in a big way to elicit problems faced by farmers and also find solutions at the R.S and R.R.S premises at Rudrur village on May 21 and 22. The Collector, D.V. Raidu, said here on Tuesday, that farmers were beset with the problems like lack of investment and marketing facilities, spurious seeds and fertiliser. They would be educated on cultivation of ID crops and inter-crop system, horticulture and drip and sprinkler irrigation. It would be explained to them why they should join the Rythu Mitra groups. Mr. Raidu said the two-day conference would discuss all issues relating to the farm sector and farming community. The farmers need to get ready to avail themselves of the benefits accruing from agriculture and its allied departments like animal husbandry, horticulture, fisheries, sericulture, irrigation, Neeru-Meeru, cooperation and marketing.
