Cash stolen

CHENNAI: Thieves entered the house of V.P.Sundaram at Anjugam Colony, Kolathur, and took away Rs. 20,000 in cash with jewellery weighing three sovereigns.

Police said the inmates had gone to Tiruttani a couple of days ago.

Kolathur police are investigating.

In another incident, the Law College police received a complaint from Kuppulakshmi of Panaiyur village on East Coast Road that her gold jewellery weighing 10 sovereigns was missing after she disembarked from an MTC bus.
