Girl run over by train

CHENNAI:
A teenage girl was fatally run over by a train between Tiruvottiyur and Ennore railway stations on Monday.
The Government Railway Police (GRP) said the victim, N. Gowri (16), was crossing the railway track on her way to her computer class around 8.15 a.m.
It was then that the Vijayawada-bound Jan Satabdhi train hit her.
Gowri died on the spot.
The Government Railway Police are investigating.
