MADURAI: The S.S. Colony police have registered a case against the Tamizhaga Munnetra Kazhagam founder-president, John Pandian, on charges of threatening his advocate with dire consequences. According to the complainant, Peter Ramesh Kumar, Mr. John Pandian, who is serving a life sentence in the Cuddalore prison, had called from a mobile phone and threatened to murder him for not handling the appeal (of the life sentence) properly. A case under Section 506 (2) (criminal intimidation) has been registered.
