Discom metro zone official promoted

HYDERABAD: The Chief General Manager of Central Power Distribution Company Limited's Metro Zone, A. Srinivasa Rao, has been promoted to the post of Executive Director with effect from Wednesday.

As Chief General Manager of Metro Zone for the past four years, Mr. Rao was instrumental in improving the power supply position in the twin cities and setting up of sub-stations, transformers and lines for uninterrupted supply.

Its revenue collections, too, had registered 100 per cent increase every year in the last four years, according to a press release.
