Letters to the Editor
The boycott of Parliament by the Opposition is most unfortunate and condemnable. By their undemocratic behaviour, the democratically elected custodians of democracy have made a mockery of Parliament.
K. Gopakumar Menon,
The Opposition leaders should think of the plight of the common man who sent them to Parliament before taking such drastic decisions. They should give up confrontation and function in the larger interests of the country.
G. Ram Mohan,
Though much of the budget session was marred by the Opposition boycott of Parliament, it also saw the smooth passage of some significant laws. While it may be unfortunate that the Opposition MPs shirked their responsibility, the move also helped expedite official business.
L.J. Prabhu,
