Triple talaq

The issue of triple talaq is once again in the limelight. True, there are vociferous Muslim women organisations that have made bold to raise their voice against male hegemony and injustice. But they cannot make a significant impact unless the menfolk of their community support them. The support for reforms cannot come from outside the community. If the men speak out braving the wrath of traditional organisations and the clergy, women will find it easier to win their rights.
