India qualifies
Chennai: India qualified for the World Youth boys' volleyball championship defeating Chinese Taipei 25-21, 25-22, 25-22 in the match for third place in the fifth Asian championship at Tehran on Thursday. Iran and Korea, which meet in the final, also qualified.
The results (semifinals): Iran bt India 25-19, 25-15, 25-22; Korea bt Taipei 23-25, 25-21, 25-23, 25-16.
