Seagate expands notebook hard disc drives

BANGALORE: Seagate Technology has unveiled expansion of its line of notebook hard disc drives in a bid to strengthen its position in the mobile computing market. Seagate's notebook product line comprising 7,200 and 5,400 rpm models provide the highest capacities available — 100GB and 120GB — to help meet growing demand among mobile users for notebook computers with greater performance and storage capacity, Randy Lee, Senior Vice-President, Seagate Global Sales, said.
