Idol installation anniversary

SABARIMALA: The Travancore Devaswom Board has made elaborate arrangements for the anniversary celebrations of the idol installation at Sabarimala Ayyappa Temple on Friday.

The Tantri, Kantaru Mohanaru, said here on Thursday that an athirudra mahayajna and kalabhabhishekom would be performed at the Sannidhanam on Friday. Today's rituals

Opening of sanctum sanctorum: 5 a.m.

Nirmalya darshan: 5 a.m.

Ganapati homam: 5.10 a.m.

Abhishekom: 5.15 a.m.

Neyabhishekom: 5.30 a.m. to 11.30 a.m.

Ushapuja: 7.30 a.m.

Utchapuja: 12.15 p.m.

Closing of sanctum sanctorum: 12.30 p.m.

Opening of sanctum sanctorum: 5 p.m.

Deeparadhana: 6.30 p.m.

Pushpabhishekom: 7 p.m.

Padipuja: 8 p.m.

Athazhapuja: 9.30 p.m.

Harivarasanam: 10 p.m.
