Plea to appoint arrack workers in toddy shops

KOCHI: The Madya Vyavasaya Thozhilali Union State president, M.P. George, has demanded that the Government appoint all arrack workers who have identity cards in toddy shops.

Mr. George said here on Thursday that if the Government failed to comply with the demand, the Union (owing allegiance to the Indian Federal Democratic Party) would picket all Assistant Excise Commissioner offices in the State.
