NEW DELHI: In the first direct intervention in the Reliance affairs, the Central Government on Thursday said it had asked the Registrar of Companies to issue notice to the group, headed by Mukesh Ambani, on complaints filed by his younger brother, Anil Ambani, in the midst of battle between the two over ownership issues. "We have asked the RoC to give a notice to Reliance,'' the Company Affairs Secretary, Komal Anand, told reporters when asked about the action being taken by the Ministry on complaints filed by Mr. Anil Ambani. She, however, did not elaborate on the details in the notice to be served by the RoC, which was under the administrative control of the Ministry, and what was the nature of complaints made by Mr. Anil Ambani.
