KANNUR: Kannur University on Thursday announced the results of the BA and B.Com. final year examinations held in March-April 2005. The B.A. and B.Com. streams recorded a pass percentage of 89 per cent and 67 per cent respectively. Marklists will be distributed from the respective centres from May 25, a university press release said. The following is the list of top three rank holders in various courses: BA Malayalam - C. Divya, K.P. Vineesh and K.P. Soubhagya (Nirmalagiri). BA English - Saira Abdulla, Nikhila Narayanan (K.M.M. Government Women's College) and P.P. Mani (SES College, Sreekantapuram). BA Functional English - Durga Ramachandran (Government Brennen College, Thalassery), K. Sameema Rahman (Mary Matha Arts & Science College, Mananthavady), Reslin Gafoor (Sir Syed College, Taliparamba). BA Arabic - A.G. Rasia, Sainul Abideen and T. Nasari (Sir Syed College). BA Kannada - M. Usha (G.P.M. Government College, Manjeswaram), B. Meenakshi and T.R. Vedavathi (Government College, Kasaragod). BA Hindi - T.K. Shyma (Payyanur College, Payyanur), Meghna Suresh and Shijina Pittantavida (Brennen College). BA Functional Hindi - C.K. Reshma, P.V. Sumith and K. Shyni (Payyanur College). BA Sanskrit - V. Applications for provisional certificates will be received with `chalan' for Rs. 50 from May 26.
