Nitin bats well

NEW DELHI: Fine batting by Nitin Thaneja helped NSCC beat Mahesh Academy by 57 runs in the pre-quarterfinals of the 21st Laxman Dass Chhabra memorial cricket tournament at the Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce ground, Pitampura.

The scores: NSCC 263 for eight in 40 overs (Nitin Thaneja 95, Karan Goyal 70) beat Mahesh Academy 206 in 36 overs (Siddharth Verma 45, Anand Sarma 41). — Special Correspondent
