Merchant robbed

CHENNAI: : A coconut merchant from Pollachi relieved of Rs 1.85 lakhs in the city on Tuesday night. Manikandan, who was on his way to Central, was waylaid by the two men with sabres when his autorickshaw driver stopped en route. Manikandan fled, leaving his money in the autorickshaw. The driver then sped away.
