MANGALORE: Mangalore Electricity Supply Company Ltd. (MESCOM) has announced a three-day schedule of power cut in various parts of Udupi district starting from Monday. In a release here on Thursday, the company said this is to facilitate shifting of power lines adjacent to the National Highway and other scheduled regular and urgent maintenance works. Accordingly, there will be no power supply between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Monday in Bannanje, Adiudupi, Ambalpady and adjoining areas in Udupi district. Hebri, Kalthuru, Belinje, Shivapura, Someshwara, Mudradi and adjoining areas will go without power supply between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Tuesday. There will be no power supply between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. in Ambalpady, Adiudupi, Mission Compound, Kinnimulki and adjoining areas on Wednesday.
