Failed candidates of B. Ed., M. Ed. get last chance to appear in exams

MADURAI: The Directorate of Distance Education of Madurai Kamaraj University is giving `one more chance' to the failed non-semester candidates of B. Ed. and M. Ed. courses. Those who have failed in the earlier attempts may try again in the forthcoming examinations.

A press release from the Additional Controller of Examinations in-charge, A. Srinivasan, said the university wanted to give a chance for the DDE students of these two courses. The examinations commence on July 16.

Candidates may submit application forms without penalty till June 3, a penalty of Rs.15 till June 10 and a penalty of Rs.60 till June 17.

Examination forms will be issued in person at the office of the Additional Controller of Examinations. They could also be had by post by sending a self-addressed cover (28 cm X 13 cm) affixed with Rs.15 postage stamps.

"This is the last and final chance for the candidates and no examination will be conducted for this course in future."

M.Sc (Botany) results

The post-graduate degree semester examination results of M.Sc (Botany) of Madurai Kamaraj University were published on April 17. Students can access their results through internet - www.mkuniversity.org-, www.webulagam.com- and www.southindia.com-,a press release from the Controller of Examinations, S.Shanmugiah, said.

Those who wish to apply for revaluation may download the application form from the website, www.mkuniversity.org, and remit the prescribed fee and send the application on or before June 2. Students need not wait for the statement of marks, the release said.

Applications for revaluation may also be had from the colleges where they studied or the university office and the information centres of MKU.
