Gold jewellery, foreign currency stolen

TAMBARAM: : Gold jewellery weighing about five sovereigns and foreign currency have been stolen from a house in Lakshmipuram, Chromepet.

Police said N. Mohammed, employed abroad, had recently come home on a holiday.

Last night, intruders broke open the door and made away with the valuables as the family slept on the terrace.
