Loan scheme launched

THIRUVANANTHAPURAMTHIRUVANANTHAPURAMTHIR: The Thiruvananthapuram district unit of the Kerala Hotel and Restaurant Association (KHRA) has launched a loan scheme for the benefit of its members. As per the scheme, the State Bank of India will advance a loan to the extent of Rs.2 lakhs to any member who provides a personal surety of another member. — Staff Reporter

Maithri initiative for students

THIRUVANANTHAPURAMTHIRUVANANTHAPURAMTHIR: Volunteers of Maithri, an organisation working to check suicides, will work 24 hours on May 24, 25 and 26 to provide emotional support for students and parents in the wake of the results of the Secondary School Leaving Certificate Examinations to be declared on May 25. Ayurveda camp

THIRUVANANTHAPURAMTHIRUVANANTHAPURAMTHIR: An ayurveda camp is being organised on Sunday by the Ashtavaidyan Thaikkattu Mooss Vaidyaratnam Oushadhasala at Panchajanyam Ayurveda Treatment and Research Centre at Karakkat Road (behind SRV School). The camp is being held to commemorate the birth centenary of the late E.T. Neelakanta Mooss, the founder of the Oushadhasala. — Staff Reporter

V.P. Singh to visit Kochi
