THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Capital City Development Forum has urged the Minister for Public Works, M.K. Muneer, for steps to construct railway overbridges at Pettah, Kazhakkuttom, Melarannoor and Dhanuvachapuram. In a memorandum submitted to the Government on Tuesday, the forum demanded the construction of a bridge across the Karamana river at Paraikadavu linking Thamalam with Mudavanmugal. The memorandum raised development issues such as the budget proposal to clean up the Karamana river, the development of the Kovalam-Kazhakkuttom IT corridor, the transshipment container terminal at Vizhinjam.
