Cheaper air fares

BANGALORE:
Air passengers can expect to travel cheaper. The recently-launched Kingfisher Airlines will offer a Delhi-Bangalore one-way ticket for Rs. 4,999, a 60 per cent discount over the fares of its competitors.
A Delhi-Bangalore ticket on Indian Airlines, Jet Airways, and Air Sahara is available for Rs. 12,600, while SpiceJet has an inaugural offer for Rs. 99 on the Delhi-Pune-Bangalore route.
The Kingfisher Airlines also offers a flat fare of Rs. 2,999 on the Mumbai-Bangalore route. Other full-service airlines charge Rs. 6,200 on the same route.
