BANGALORE: The family members of V.P. Thirumurthy, who was killed along with his wife and a daughter in New Zealand in the early hours of Wednesday, said on Thursday that his elder daughter is out of danger. Mr. Thirumurthy (50), Director of the VST Group; his wife, Suchitra (42); and their daughter, Urmila (18) were killed when the van in which they were travelling collided with a log-laden truck near the town of Morrinsville in Waikato province on North Island. The family sources said Ahalaya (20), who received head and internal injuries, is out of danger. She is undergoing treatment in a Waikato hospital.
