BANGALORE: The city police have prohibited all vehicles from taking a right turn at the "Y" junction towards Residency Road from the Cauvery Emporium side on M.G. Road. The new rule will come into force from May 25. BMTC buses proceeding on this route will now have to take Queen's Road from CTO Circle, take a right turn at Anil Kumble Circle towards St. Marks Road and then proceed through Museum Road before taking a left turn at Ashirwadam Circle to move towards Mayo Hall and beyond. To ensure smooth flow of traffic, the police have banned parking on both sides from Opera Circle on Brigade Road till the Old Ashoknagar Police Station junction. On Museum Road, the police have allowed two-wheeler parking from the Old Ashoknagar police station junction till Ashirwadam Circle.
