Muslims favour united State

HYDERABAD:
Muslims are in favour of a united Andhra Pradesh and that their opinion on formation of a separate Telangana State should also be taken into consideration.
This was conveyed to the Chief Minister, Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, by a delegation of the Muslim United Forum, here on Thursday.
A press release issued by the Chief Minister's Office said members of the delegation discussed several issues with the Chief Minister including the Matangi mosque in Medak district, development of Old City and five per cent reservations for Muslims.
The delegation congratulated the Chief Minister for successfully completing one-year in office.
The delegation included Salahuddin Owaisi, Majlis-Ittehadul-e-Mulsimeen president, Moulana Hameeduddin Akhil Husami, convener of the forum, Rahim Qureshi, general secretary, All-India Muslim Personal Law Board, Mohd. Azharuddin, president, Jamaat-e-Islami, Afsar Khan, MLA, among others.
The Ministers Mohamme Ali Shabbir (Information and Public Relations) and Mohammed Fareeduddin (Minorities Welfare, Wakf, Urdu Academy and Fisheries) were present.
